Fairweather Admission Criteria Admission criteria for homeless and mentally ill

The Admission Criteria for the Fairweather Program:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Axis I Mental Health Diagnosis from a Psychiatrist
  • Free of Drugs and Alcohol for at least 30 days
  • Stable and compliant with medication for at least 30 days
  • Must be willing to either work 15-20 hours a week, attend school, or volunteer within 30 days of entrance into the program
  • Must be able to pay $466 in rent per month for housing, monthly utilities including: electricity, cable, phone, water, weekly grocery shopping: including food and toiletries.
  • Must be willing to live with others

 The Admission Criteria for the Fairweather Family Lodge:

  • Axis I Mental Health Diagnosis from a Psychiatrist
  • Ability to provide proof of homeless status
  • Stable and compliant with medication for at least 30 days
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have a child(ren) ages infant to 12 years old
  • Free of Drugs and Alcohol for at least 30 days
  • Must be willing to either work 15-20 hours per week or attend school within 30 days of entrance into the program
  • Must pay 30% of monthly income for rent
