Emergency Services (ES) provides profess
ional staff and support to families and children in emergency situations and shelters due to catastrophic events and/or evacuation. Services can deploy nationally and immediately.
The Emergency Services Program is designed within the context of the Standards & Indicators for Disaster Shelter Care for Children as recommended by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Disaster Case Management Program published by the Administration of Children & Families.

- Identification and set up of Child-Safe Zones in temporary shelters and/or locations

Staff Qualifications:
- Child & Direct Care Staff certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid
- Approved Federal Criminal Background Checks
- Specialized Training in Behavior Management, Crisis Intervention,and Trauma Response
- Specialized Training in Shelter Operations
- 200+ Reservists on standby 365 days a year
